Dr. Malterud will introduce BioTusk OATs in his capacity as an independent medical advisor to the inventor Charles Harris, who accidentally discovered the revolutionary mechanism which closes off the oropharynx from the oral cavity – allowing ozone gas to be safely administered into the entire oral cavity without suction or assistance for the first time. Charles contacted Dr. Malterud "out of the blue" and asked him to evaluate the new device which Charles claimed allowed anyone to use ozone gas in the oral cavity and breathe normally at the same time. Dr. Malterud was the first dentist in the United States to test and evaluate the device.
