What Is Ozonated Glycerin? Uses, Benefits, and Clinical Applications
Shelf-stable, odorless ozonated glycerin for skin, dental, nasal, and integrative use.
Ozonated glycerin is a stabilized form of ozone infused into glycerin, designed to deliver active oxygen in a controlled, shelf-stable format. It is used for skin repair, dental care, nasal support, and clinical ozone protocols.
Unlike ozonated oils, ozonated glycerin is water-soluble, non-greasy, odorless, and stable for over 3 years without refrigeration.
OG-S™ is a next-generation ozonated glycerin developed to safely deliver active ozone without odor, degradation, or refrigeration. It is produced using a proprietary stabilization process that allows ozone to remain active within a glycerin matrix without preservatives, emulsifiers, or artificial additives.
How Ozonated Glycerin Works
When ozone is infused into glycerin, it forms stable ozonide compounds that slowly release reactive oxygen species over time.
This controlled release supports:
Tissue repair and regeneration
Reduction of inflammation
Antimicrobial activity
Improved oxygen utilization at the cellular level
This is what makes ozonated glycerin fundamentally different from ozone gas or ozonated oils.

Safety Precautions
Courtesy of Dr. Jim Bridge
OG is highly concentrated, with a very low pH (~2) and hypertonic properties. Dilution and buffering are essential to ensure safety in clinical use.
To minimize adverse side effects, buffer OG with sodium bicarbonate to bring the pH closer to neutral before administration.
Important clinical guidance based on observed use:
Recommended dilution for IV use: 2.5% OG in sterile water
Maximum dose: 1 mL of OG per 6 pounds (3 kg) of body weight
Gradual dosing protocol is strongly advised:
Start with ¼ of calculated dose for first injection (IV or IP)
Use ½ dose for the second
¾ dose for the third
Full dose for all subsequent administrations
Possible side effects (observed at 5% concentration):
Transient hematuria (pink urine) for a few hours post-IV (similar to 10-pass or EBOO)
GI cramping or osmotic laxative effect if the dose is too high (IV or oral)
Special note for oncology cases:
Start with extremely low doses and increase only as tolerated. Rapid cancer cell die-off can cause serious complications if the dose is too aggressive early on.
Always adjust treatment based on patient tolerance and response.
